Locana Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 18, 2026

Locana is a location guessing game. This policy explains the information used to provide accounts, gameplay, multiplayer features, purchases, analytics, and advertising.

Information we process

We may process your account identifier, display name, email address, approximate country, game scores, gameplay history, friends, battle invitations, purchase entitlement status, device information, advertising identifiers when permitted, and product interaction analytics.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, save progress, operate leaderboards and multiplayer games, restore purchases, prevent abuse, improve gameplay, measure app performance, and show advertising. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Locana uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Analytics; Google Sign-In, Google Street View, and Google Mobile Ads; Apple Sign in with Apple and StoreKit. These providers may process information under their own privacy terms.

Tracking and advertising

Locana asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before using data for personalized advertising or cross-app tracking. Declining does not prevent gameplay and may result in non-personalized ads.

Retention and deletion

Account and gameplay data is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your Locana account and associated server data from the Account screen in the app. Apple subscription billing must be cancelled separately in your App Store subscription settings.

Children

Locana is not directed to children under the minimum digital-consent age applicable in their country. Do not provide personal information if you are not permitted to do so.

Contact

For privacy or support requests, use the support contact listed on Locana's App Store product page or visit the Locana Support page.
